"Real Madrid CF announce that the loan of player Alphonse Areola has ended," a statement from the club read.
"The club would like to thank Areola for his dedication, professionalism and exemplary behavior this season and wishes him the best of luck in his new phase.
"Real Madrid is also grateful to PSG for the opportunity to have Alphonse Areola in our squad."
Areola spent the previous season on loan with Los Blancos and even maintained a clean sheet in his very first outing for the club.
The goalkeeper recently bought a house in London and has garnered attention from Newcastle United.
