Bayern midfielder Joshua Kimmich will be playing as a make-shift right-back when his team faces Real Madrid in a crunch Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesday.
It sets up a showdown between the German superstar and Real Madrid's ruthless and relentless left-winger Vinicius Jr.
"I know he is very strong in one-on-one situations. Like Kylian Mbappé. So I'm very happy to face him and compete with him," Kimmich said.
"We all have some weaknesses and some strengths. I don't want to talk about his weaknesses. Vinicius is a very very strong player.
"I have to concentrate, defend and when I have the opportunity to attack, of course I want to do it.
"But at the beginning, we have to focus on defending and be focused on our game," the 29-year-old added.
Kimmich has his work cut out as Vini has proved almost impossible to stop in this season's Champions League. The Brazilian has only failed to score or assist in just one game since the group stage.
Vini has three goals and five assists in the competition this term. Three of those goal contributions have come in the knockout stages.
