Standing ovation and forehead kisses: How Bernabeu welcomed Militao back after ACL injury

Eder Militao has just made his grand return to action, marking his first appearance for Real Madrid in seven months.

The defender had been sidelined with an ACL injury since the beginning of the campaign. Symbolically, his return comes against the same opponent –Athletic Bilbao.

The Brazilian stepped on the Bernabeu grass in stoppage time, replacing Dani Carvajal greeted with a standing ovation from the home crowd.

The teammates welcomed the centre-back just as warm – with lots of hugs and even forehead kisses!
