Transfermarkt have updated their player values, which means that it is a great opportunity to take a look at what Paris Saint-Germain's most expensive line-up would look like.
So, here it is.
GK: Gianluigi Donnarumma — €65m
RB: Achraf Hakimi — €60m
CB: Marquinhos — €75m
CB: Presnel Kimpembe — €40m
LB: Nuno Mendes — €40m
DM: Georginio Wijnaldum — €30m
DM: Marco Verratti — €55m
RW: Leo Messi — €80m
AM: Neymar — €100m
LW: Kylian Mbappe — €160m
ST: Mauro Icardi — €40m
The line-ups total value is set at €745m. Interestingly, five of these players joined the Parisians over the summer.
It is not excluded that we will see PSG line up this way at some point this season.
However, for now, Mauricio Pochettino seems to prefer having Angel Di Maria on the team, with Messi and Mbappe playing as the attacking midfield and striker respectively. Di Maria didn't have a place in our line-up, though, as he is valued at €20m.
Some other big-name absentees include Idrissa Gueye (€15m) and Ander Herrera (€12m), who have been regular starters this term so far, Keylor Navas (€7m), as well as Sergio Ramos (€10m), who is still recovering from his injury.
