Man United linked with Frenkie de Jong AGAIN & 2 other latest under-radar stories

Van de Beek undergoes treatment for injury

Donny van de Beek has only managed 378 minutes of action while on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt this season.

He is unlikely to ever play for them again after manager Dino Toppmoller confirmed: "He [Donny] is there [the Netherlands] because he is having treatment for a problem with his heel/Achilles tendon. He wanted to see his confidant this week."

Barcelona could swap Greenwood with Roque

Barcelona are willing to offer out-of-favour forward Vitor Roque as part of a swap deal to sign Mason Greenwood, understands HITC.

The Man United loanee has attracted attention from La Liga sides following his impressive performances for Getafe, who are also eager to keep him permanently.

Man United linked with Frenkie de Jong AGAIN

In a story that refuses to die down, Catalan media outlet Mundo Deportivo reports that Erik ten Hag is still 'crazy' about Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong and would love for him to join Man United.

United have tried multiple times to sign De Jong but failed to do so, mainly because the player did not want to go. Now that Ten Hag is due to have less of a say on transfers, and with his future by no means certain, it's hard to imagine this deal taking place now, even though Barca could be a willing seller.
