Mason Mount made his first start since November on Monday when Manchester United travelled to Crystal Palace.
The England midfielder actually did okay for himself as the Red Devils suffered a humiliating 4–0 defeat away from home.
And some Man United supporters believe the 25-year-old has what it takes to come good despite his disastrous first year at the club.

Cnaiür urs Skiötha: "Mount showed some glimpses of what I would like to see more from our future players. Trying to be progressive, quick passing and moving also in tight spaces etc. One of the few I would like to give a chance next season."
simonhch: "Not fair to judge him on this mess. Plus he hardly has any football in his boots. Give him a full season next year, if he can stay fit, and then judge. I am sure the next manager will love to have a player of his quality."
Godfather: "I'm not a fan of him and was against signing him but this is fair enough. Give him next season with a — hopefully — new and more competent manager."
Malons: "The guy always seem massively tidy whenever he comes on. He has great movement off the ball too. I get the criticism for the amount of money we spent vs how long he's been on the pitch, but when he's there I've not had any complaints. People seem to have an agenda against him."
