Jadon Sancho is enjoying a pretty prolific loan spell at Borussia Dortmund and scored his fourth goal of the loan spell at the weekend.
The Englishman scored a fantastic effort in his side’s 4-1 loss to RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga, setting an interesting record by doing so.
With his goal, Sancho became the highest-scoring English player in Bundesliga history – having scored 40 goals in the competition.
He managed to surpass the previous feat set by ex-Arsenal man Tony Woodcock by scoring his second goal of the 2023/24 Bundesliga season against Leipzig.
With that being said, Sancho might lose this record soon to Harry Kane – who is already on 35 Bundesliga goals in just 31 appearances.
Jadon is currently expected to leave Man United on a permanent basis in the summer, with Dortmund keen on bringing him back after this loan spell.
