Erik ten Hag has appreciated Antony for his performance in the 1-1 draw to Burnley, where the Brazilian was the only scorer for Manchester United.
"He was a threat all through," said Ten Hag to MUTV.
"It wasn’t a surprise he scored a goal as he also had more chances before that to score a goal.
"Two or three times, with his runs and good movements in the box. He was there and we are pleased with his performance."
Antony has finally scored his first Premier League goal of the season, managing six shots on Burnley's goal. That is not remarkable but it's worth noting that he'd only attempted eight shots over the entire term before this.
This is nowhere near enough for him to play for a club like Man United but it's certainly a step in the right direction.
