Speaking to FourFourTwo magazine, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer opened up on both the highs and lows during his spell in charge of Manchester United.
The United legend admitted that one of his favourite moments came when Scott McTominay scored an injury-time stunner against Manchester City in 2020.
“Scott McTominay’s goal in the 96th minute against City in the last league game before lockdown,” Solskjaer said.
“Scott’s a great player and lad. He always gives 100 per cent for the club and represents United in the best possible way. It was wonderful for everyone.”
Solskjaer regularly used McTominay when he was United manager and paired him alongside Fred in midfield as part of the infamous ‘McFred’ partnership.
However, he has struggled to feature regularly under Erik ten Hag.
