13 players who could leave Man United this summer

Edinson Cavani

Cavani wanted to leave Man United in January itself, but was convinced by Ralf Rangnick to stick around until the end of the season. He’s set to leave once his contract expires in June.

Jesse Lingard

Lingard was also denied a January exit, but remains professional at United. He’s rejected all contract extension offers and will leave for free once the season is over.

Paul Pogba

Despite teasing the possibility of signing a new deal if a favorable manager is appointed, Pogba is still in line to let his contract run out in the summer and join another club as a free agent next season.

Juan Mata

The Red Devils have offered Mata the chance of retiring and taking up a coaching role within the club. However, the Spaniard has shown no intention of hanging up his boots yet, meaning he’s also likely to let his contract expire and move out in the summer.

Anthony Martial

Martial is enjoying his time at Sevilla, but is contracted to return to United in the summer. However, he doesn’t want to come back and is pushing for a permanent exit next season.

Dean Henderson

Henderson has grown frustrated after only featuring in 3 games this season. He is likely to push for a summer exit and is probably in line to get another loan move next season.

Donny van de Beek

The Red Devils will reportedly give the new manager time to assess Van de Beek before thinking about his future. The Dutchman, however, is ready to push for a permanent exit, possibly to Everton if they avoid relegation.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo is likely to seek a transfer if United are unable to qualify for the Champions League next season as he definitely doesn’t want to play in the Europa League.

Marcus Rashford

Rashford is also ‘considering his future’ at Old Trafford and could look for a new adventure elsewhere next season if unable to get enough assurances around his role at United.

Phil Jones

Jones rejected a move to Bordeaux in January, but is longing for playing time. United will be more than willing to organize a transfer for him and Phil could leave if he brings down his demands from a potential future club.

Eric Bailly

Bailly is also becoming frustrated with his situation at United as he’s way below in the centre-back pecking order. With the likes of Barcelona, AS Roma and AC Milan reportedly ready to sign him, the Ivorian could be allowed to leave – especially if the Red Devils sign another centre-back.

Andreas Pereira

Flamengo have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Andreas Pereira on a permanent basis for around £10m and the move could be completed in the summer transfer window.

Tahith Chong

Chong’s contract is also set in the summer and unless the new manager wants him to stay, the Dutchman is set to leave Old Trafford once the season is over.
