Liverpool braced for new Mo Salah bids from Saudi Arabia, their stance revealed (reliability: 3 stars)

According to Football Insider, Liverpool are braced for new efforts from Saudi Pro League club Al Ittihad to sign Mohamed Salah.

A year ago, Liverpool rejected at least two bids from the Saudi club, with the final offer worth ₤200m.

The sum is not expected to be as astronomical this time, as Salah is close to turning 32 and has just a year on his contract with the Reds.

However, Liverpool still expect Al Ittihad to go as high as £150m because Salah is supposed to be the marquee signing for the Saudi Pro League this summer.

And, unlike last year, the Reds are more open to listening to the offers as they gear up for a new project under a new head coach who is likely to be Arne Slot.
