Walker on Doku no-pen call: 'That's why Oliver's one of best referees in the world'

Liverpool felt they were robbed by on-pitch referee Michael Oliver and VAR Stuart Atwell in the final minutes of the Man City game.

Jeremy Doku hit Alexis Mac Allister in the chest with a high boot but no penalty was given. Surprise surprise, Kyle Walker agrees with the decision.

“I feel the referee did really well,” the City full-back told Sky Sports about the call, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

“Once you have Anfield and the crowd behind them, he could've crumbled. But that shows his experience and why he's regarded as one of the best referees in this country and the world.”
