Premier League club coached by ex-Liverpool coach demands to sign Fabio Carvalho on loan

Wolves have asked to sign Fabio Carvalho on loan from Liverpool for the remainder of the season, Fabrizio Romano reports.

Wolves are coached by former Liverpool under-23 assistant coach Gary O'Neil but this isn't a deciding factor for the Reds.

Romano says Liverpool wants guaranteed game time for their player before allowing Carvalho to join another club on loan this year.

It is said that some top-six Championship clubs in England are keen on signing the attacker on loan but Liverpool and the player's camp are yet to make a final decision.

The 21-year-old has struggled to find his feet during his time at RB Leipzig. He's started just one game since he went there on loan last summer, despite making 15 appearances. It's probably why he's yet to score or assist for the German team.

Liverpool values the Portuguese forward highly and expects him to mature into a top-class footballer. However, things are not going his way just yet.
