Liverpool defeated Everton with a 2-0 score after Reds received a significant boost in the first half of Merseyside derby. Ashley Young from Everton was given the red card.
Young got his first yellow card in the 18th minute for a foul on Luis Diaz. Later, in the 37th minute, he was shown a second yellow for another foul on Diaz, tripping the Liverpool forward as he was making his way into the box.
Liverpool fans couldn't believe their eyes after they saw a red card given not to one of Jurgen Klopp's players.
