4 exceptional Euro 2020 stars Liverpool should consider signing

Euro 2020 may have started a year late but the competition has had plenty of excitement and drama around it since it began.

From Italy's dominant group stages, to Southgate's questionable picks and the odd underdog story, a lot of players have distinguished themselves already in this competition.

Considering that the Reds need answers in 2-3 positions in the transfer window, Tribuna.com takes a look at which players that have impressed at the Euros could be prospects for Liverpool.

Manuel Locatelli

Manuel Locatelli has been on the revelations of the tournament, running Italy's midfield alongside the impressive Jorginho.

Being compared to the likes of Pirlo, Locatelli has garnered lots of praise for his all-round performances in the middle of the park.

Although he is primarily a defensive midfielder, Locatelli clearly has goals in his game as well as the ability to find teammates with his passes.

For a team that's losing Gini Wijnaldum, the Italian would be a near-perfect replacement from the looks of it, although the Sassuolo man is likely to cost a lot following his stellar performances in this tournament.

Alexander Isak

The Swedish striker has already been linked with Liverpool following an impressive start to the Euros.

The Reds struggled with scoring goals at a crucial time of the season in 2020/21 and an upgrade for Bobby Firmino is fast becoming the norm.

Touted as the next Zlatan, the 21-year-old managed 17 goals in La Liga this past season, making him one of Europe's most underrated forward prospects.

Even outside of his goalscoring output, Alexander Isak has the technical ability to flourish in a Jurgen Klopp system.

If Sweden can make it farther into the competition, the striker will certainly become one of the most sought after commodities in Europe.

Aaron Ramsey

Aaron Ramsey has quietly impressed for Wales as they have managed to qualify for the knockout stages of the tournament.

The midfielder has notched an assist while maintaining the core of the Welsh team alongside Gareth Bale.

Neco Williams and Harry Wilson are both part of the squad too, with both clearly benefitting from a relationship with Ramsey.

With his Juventus move not having panned out exactly as he would have hoped and Ramsey still only 30, he could be a surprising yet excellent pick up for the Reds, similar to the James Milner signing.

Patrik Schick

Putting Scotland to the sword and scoring an incredible goal from the halfway line has announced Patrik Schick to the world.

The Czech striker is another that can do it all, being proficient with his feet as well as having the size to compete in the air.

9 goals in the Bundesliga despite some injury concerns followed up with 3 goals in 2 games at the Euros make Schick a lucrative prospect for the Reds.

Which of these players would you like to see with the Reds?
