Harvey Elliott nominated for EFL Young Player of the Year

Liverpool loanee Harvey Elliott has been selected for a three-man shortlist for the EFL Young Player of the Year award.

The teenager who is currently on loan at Championship side Blackburn Rovers is joined on the shortlist by Michael Olise (Reading) and Max Aarons (Norwich City).

EA Sports will hold an online poll on Wednesday, April 28. Its results will make up for 25 per cent of the overall result, while the remaining 75 per cent will be decided by a judging panel. The winner is to be announced on Thursday.

The 18-year-old has had a breakthrough campaign with Blackburn, scoring 6 goals and providing 11 assists in 40 appearances.
