Paul Merson creates awkward moment in studio as tries to wind up former Spurs defender Michael Dawson

Arsenal managed to get a win against Tottenham with a 3-2 score, however, the second half of the match was far from calm.

The tension, though, wasn't only on the football field but also in the Sky Sports studio after the match.

Former Spurs defender Michael Dawson discussed Arsenal's lacklustre display in the second half.

He said: "At the end, Arsenal are hanging on and they're nervous. They're going for a title. Nerves kick in. Obviously, for Merse and Arsenal and all those fans they'll all go home happy."

Paul Merson wasn't pleased with this analysis. Nodding towards Dawson he said: "It stands them in good stead for next year, doesn't it, that fightback?"

Roy Keane, Micah Richards, and host David Jones watched uncomfortably as Merse shrugged his shoulders, seeming to question Dawson's remarks about the comeback. Thankfully, Jones intervened to ease the tension.
