Antoine Griezmann is thinking ahead about his next move in football. After a tough stint at Barcelona, he's back at Atletico Madrid until 2026. Even though he still has a few years left on his contract, he's considering his options.
There have been talks about a potential move to the Saudi Pro League, but Griezmann seems to have ruled out this option. He does, however, understand why players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema have chosen to play in Saudi Arabia.
During the international break, Griezmann made it clear that his goal is to play in Major League Soccer, which now boasts players like Lionel Messi after his move in the summer.
He told Spanish outlet AS: "I understand those who have gone to Saudi Arabia. We are talking about incredible sums of money. Some want to protect their children and grandchildren, it seems normal to me. They will have the obligation to play well and show all their talent."
"Could I go? I have a family and three children, it's not an easy decision to make but as you know, MLS is still my goal."
