Rodri fired a playful dig at Haaland after Man City's treble

Rodri had a bit of fun with Erling Haaland after scoring the winning goal in the Champions League final in June. Manchester City, under Pep Guardiola's leadership, defeated Inter Milan 1-0 to achieve the coveted Treble, having previously secured the Premier League and won the FA Cup a week earlier.

City's triumph in the Premier League marked their third consecutive top-flight title, and they followed it up with a 2-1 victory over Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

Despite scoring more than 50 goals in all competitions, Haaland didn't have much luck in both the FA Cup and Champions League finals.

Ilkay Gundogan was the star with two goals in the Man United game, while Rodri became the hero in the match against Inter with a second-half strike, earning City their first-ever Champions League title.

After his crucial goal, Rodri couldn't resist making a lighthearted remark about Haaland when asked about his winning goal in Istanbul. He said: "Sometimes Erling doesn't do his job."

Rodri had a fantastic season and earned a spot in the PFA Team of the Year. He wasn't alone from Man City, five of our players made it into the XI. John Stones, Ruben Dias, Kevin de Bruyne, and Haaland were also recognized for their outstanding performances.
