Lewandowski tips Mbappe or Real Madrid player to win Ballon d'Or

Robert Lewandowski says Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham and PSG's Kylian Mbappe deserve to win the Ballon d'Or if the award was to be given out today.

“We still have the Euros to play and the decisive matches in the Champions League. But at this moment, Mbappe and Bellingham are the best players in the world,” Lewandowski told Bild.

Both Bellingham and Mbappe have hurt Barca this season in clutch moments. It was Mbappe's brace that dumped Barca out of the Champions League while Bellingham scored the winner in both legs of El Clasico.

Lewandowski is probably right with his assessment, the Ballon d'Or will ultimately go to the player who wins the Champions League and possibly the Euros in July.
