Joao Felix is training like crazy to convince Xavi to start him against PSG next week. That's according to Catalan source Ivan San Antonio.
Felix has not started any of Barca's last three Champions League games. He's played just 13 minutes from those three games with his last start in the competition coming against Porto where he scored the winning goal.
For some reason, the Portuguese forward has been in and out of the starting XI with just two starts in Barca's last five games. He's probably seen more as an impact sub than a starter.
Sources close to the team say Xavi has already decided on his starting XI for the PSG game and it will not feature Felix. Instead, Raphinha and Lamine Yamal will start as wide forwards flanking Robert Lewandowski.
Still, Felix has been impressive when given a chance and his 15 goal contributions are already better than he has returned in the last four seasons.
