Barcelona consider naming no. 20 gate at Camp Nou after Sergi Roberto

The construction work on Camp Nou continues, with the completion of redevelopment and expansion works scheduled for the end of 2025.

Cadena Ser report that Barcelona are contemplating naming the stadium's gates after the club's legendary players, coaches and presidents.

For example, gate no. 10 would bear the name of Leo Messi. And the gate no. 20 would be named after Sergi Roberto.

Espanyol have a similar system at their stadium, with gate no. 89 bearing the name of Ernesto Valverde.

Note that such a way of commemorating the club's legends has only been proposed at Barcelona. It has not been made official yet.
