Barcelona produced an inspired performance to dig out a thrilling 4-2 win over Real Betis in their La Liga clash at the weekend.
Xavi’s risks paid off as his second-half substitute Joao Felix scored a great goal and Ferran Torres also bagged a hattrick.
However, one Barca fan - Domagoj Kostanjšak – was impressed with how the gaffer used Pedri in the game. The midfielder played for around 70 minutes before being replaced by Fermin Lopez, who added more energy in the midfield.
The Barca supporter tweeted: “I'm quite happy with Pedri getting a good 60 minutes of most games before getting subbed off. It sure beats playing him 90+ minutes for a few weeks without resting and then breaking him for the remainder of the season. Xavi's subs were spot on last night.”
Pedri produced an impressive performance against Betis, assisting Ferran’s first goal as well as creating two chances and maintaining an 89% passing accuracy in the performance too.
