Cancelo gifts jersey to star player who 'offered himself to Barca' last year

Joao Cancelo has gifted his Barca jersey... to Paulo Dybala!

"Thanks a lot my friend ❤️" the Argentine wrote on Instagram.

Joao left a special message on the shirt.

"For my brother and friend Paulo Dybala. Hug."

Dybala reportedly offered himself to Barcelona in the summer of 2022 when he was leaving Juventus as a free agent. However, the Catalans refused to sign the attacker who ended up joining Roma.

The 30-year-old has scored 4 goals and delivered 5 assists in 13 appearances for the Serie A side this season. He was part of Argentina's World Cup-winning squad last year.
