Barcelona can win La Liga if they beat cross-city rivals: Explained

Barcelona could be crowned La Liga Champions on May 14 when they play against cross-city rivals Espanyol.

However, it can only happen on the condition that Barcelona wins their next six games leading up to the game against Espanyol. We also assume that Real Madrid wins their next five league matches.

Barca could go 15 points clear if they beat Girona later today. That would mean they will have an unassailable lead in the title race if they beat Espanyol with four games to go.
