Mauricio Pochettino believes Chelsea can end the season on a high note. He's optimistic about finishing with pride and securing a place in Europe.
Pochettino said: "To finish strong is the most important thing. Last season, if you remember, it was difficult to have good results at Stamford Bridge. It can be contagious for next season."
"So if we finish strong this season, being very good at Stamford Bridge – and the record is fantastic over the last ten games – you can project for next season to keep the same energy and performance."
On the European football possibility, Pochettino said: "To achieve something like this is important for every single club. It is an objective that is there, it’s true it’s going to be hard to get, but the most important thing now is to repeat our performance of the last few weeks against Nottingham Forest and not think too much."
In the last 12 league matches Chelsea lost only one game - an impressive stat, considering all the struggles at the beginning of the season.
With just 2 points away from Newcastle the Blues have a great chance to finish 6th, something that seemed unachievable in the middle of the season.
