Speaking ahead of Chelsea's visit to Tottenham, Mauricio Pochettino has revealed how impressed he is with Ange Postecoglou's efforts to improve his former club.
"I'm so happy for him and the club to be doing really well. We cannot forget all that happened there. It's normal that we are very positive and grateful people," Pochettino told a press conference.
"When people are doing well at the club I have been at, we keep these links and always we are happy when the club do well.
"Yes [I think they are title contenders] even though it is very early in the season. They have very good players and a very good team."
Pochettino worked at Tottenham for five and a half years, so it's natural for him to have some affinity for his former side.
However, it's unlikely to be fine by those Chelsea fans who view Spurs as their bitterest rivals and are rightly annoyed by them being top of the league while the Blues are 10 places below.
