Chelsea have raised quite a lot of money through the sales of Mateo Kovacic, Kalidou Koulibaly and Kai Havertz. Now, as per the Evening Standard, the 'phase two' of the summer rebuild begins, with Chelsea hoping to offload more players.
Mason Mount is expected to depart the Bridge for Man United. Here are the remaining players Chelsea want to shift: Romelu Lukaku, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Trevoh Chalobah, Cesar Azpilicueta and Marc Cucurella.
In addition to selling Mount for £55m (plus £5m in add-ons), Chelsea hope to raise £100m by shipping off the remaining seven players. Pulisic and Chalobah are obviously the most 'marketable', while it would be difficult to offload Aubameyang and Cucurella, who were extremely poor last season.
The report states that Chelsea might not be able to sell everyone on their transfer list. They'd have to pay some of them off to terminate their contracts.
