Chelsea defeated West Ham 2-1 at home. Max Cornet levelled for West Ham late in the game but his goal was chalked off by VAR.
The Hammers thought they had equalised but after a long consideration, the referee adjudged that Bowen had fouled Mendy in the build-up.
The goalkeeper seemed injured after getting clipped by Bowen but West Ham argued that the hit was accidental, with the forward trying to jump over the goalkeeper.
Anyway, VAR cancelled West Ham's goal and Chelsea ended up winning the game. This is literally the first time in recent memory we see a VAR decision going our way and Chelsea fans are positively shocked.
