Former Blue Craig Burley: 'I have no confidence Chelsea will keep a clean sheet against Wolves'

"I have no confidence to sit here and say they will keep a clean sheet at home against this Wolves side," former Chelsea player Craig Burley told ESPN FC.

"By the way, they [Wolves] are still getting pushed by Tottenham for the Europa League places, so that's important to them. We know about the pace of [Adama] Traore, we know about Raul Jimenez running in behind - these are all issues for Lampard.

"I'm wondering whether [Lampard] rips it all up and goes back to the back four again, but then who's that back four and personnel? Does he keep Reece James at right-back? Does he drop his skipper [Cesar] Azpilicueta?

"Does he go for the experience? Does he bring Emerson [Palmieri] back into a flat back four because we know [Marcos] Alonso's better as a wing-back? And the big conundrum is if he's got two centre-halves, which two is it?

"We know he's got no N'Golo Kante to cover in front so that's a big issue as well. So, look, Chelsea are super exciting going forward, that isn't the issue. The issue is clear and obvious and they've got it all to play for on Sunday, trust me."

No team in the top 10 of the Premier League has conceded more goals than Chelsea, who have let in 54 goals this season in 37 matches.

Sunday's final game of the league season against a strong Wolverhampton Wanderers side is all-important to the Blues - they need to avoid defeat in order to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Burley is right as the team has some major defensive issues they need to sort out - we just hope that Lampard can answer these problems and we get a positive result on Sunday!
