On Monday night, Aston Villa are playing Liverpool — and the game could affect the title race in a really peculiar way.
Before the game, Villa were four points ahead of Tottenham in the race for the fourth place that guarantees a Champions League spot.
If Villa beat Liverpool, they secure their place, meaning that Tottenham would have nothing to play for in the game against Man City on Tuesday night.
Arsenal fans, meanwhile, want Spurs motivated for the game against Pep Guardiola's side which could potentially be a Premier League title decider. So, they support Liverpool against Aston Villa so that Tottenham have something at stake.
