Man United manager Erik ten Hag has been strangely obsessed with Arsenal all through the 2023/24 season. He’s been persistent over how his side ‘deserved a penalty’ and a positive result at the Emirates, where they suffered a 3-1 loss earlier this season.
Martin Odegaard was actually asked if Ten Hag’s muttering makes his side extra motivated for the upcoming game against Man United and answered: “Honestly, no. I don’t think so.
“It’s like any other game we are playing for at the moment. I don’t think we need any extra motivation at the moment. I think there is enough there. We know what we are playing for. We know the task. We have to win every game and that is what we are going to try to do.”
The Man United gaffer can’t seem to get over that result against Arsenal at all and has repeatedly complained about it over the months, despite all the lows that his side have stooped to over the campaign.
Arsenal will aim to get their revenge with a dominant win at Old Trafford on Sunday (May 12) and maintain their charge in the Premier League title race.
