Arsenal create two-man summer shortlist amid Saliba fears – one target impressing in Premier League (reliability: 4 stars)

Arsenal are thinking about signing a new centre-back in the summer amid fears over William Saliba’s injury issues, claims the Daily Mail’s Simon Jones.

The Gunners have set up a two-man shortlist of players they might look to sign in the summer.

One is Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, whom Arsenal are scouting for a potential move.

However, they’ll face competition from Tottenham Hotspur over a move for Guehi – has impressed as part of the Eagles and helped them keep eight Premier League clean sheets.

Arsenal are also monitoring the development of Dinamo Zagreb defender Josip Sutalo.

While Jakub Kiwior is another option at centre-back, he’s more suited to be an alternative for Gabriel Magalhaes.

Saliba is set to miss the Chelsea match also, as he struggles to recover from the injury sustained against Sporting CP in March.
