According to the Sun, Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be allowed to do a lap of honor in his Old Trafford farewell in Man United’s clash against Newcastle United.
The club has decided to sell him in the summer. As a result, they’re ready to let him interact with the home fans for a final time after the Newcastle clash.
In fact, the Man United management has even printed a customized shirt for Wan-Bissaka’s farewell. It apparently features an image of him lifting the Carabao Cup.
Wan-Bissaka still has one year remaining on his Man United contract. But the club will look to ship him off this summer rather than lose him as a free agent in 2025.
Along with the full-back, Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial will also bid adieu to the Old Trafford faithful.
Neither are expected to feature due to injuries, but will still do a lap of honor to say goodbyes to the supporters in what should be an emotional evening.
Man United have already confirmed that Varane will leave Old Trafford after his contract expires at the end of June. Martial is also expected to leave with him at the same time.
