Jadon Sancho delivered a mature performance as Borussia Dortmund beat Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in the Champions League semi-final first leg.
Sancho and Erik ten Hag had an infamous public spat, where the winger accused the manager of making him a 'scapegoat'.
Jadon's refusal to apologise led to his return to Dortmund on loan till the end of the season.
When asked about Sancho's massive performance in the semi-final, Ten Hag told reporters: "Yesterday he showed why Manchester United bought him.
"He showed also that he represents a high value for Manchester United, which is good.
"So, I'm happy -- happy for Jadon with his performance yesterday and we will see what is going to happen in the future."
Although the Man United loanee did not get on the scoresheet, he was a constant thorn in PSG's side.
As seen from his stats, Sancho created one big chance and also made three key passes to keep Dortmund's attack ticking.
