Harvey Elliott believes that there are many things that Liverpool can be proud of what they achieved in the 2023/24 season.
Speaking to club media before the Tottenham Hotspur game, he explained: “We have won a trophy, qualified for the Champions League.
“There are positives throughout the season, [such as] so many young lads getting opportunities and playing really, really well, which for us as older players is really nice to see.
“It’s not gone the way we wanted towards the end of the season, but we can look at the season as a whole and be proud of where we are, especially with the circumstances, the rebuild. It’s never easy, but I think the way the squad has handled it has been amazing.”
The Reds do have many things to be proud off in their final campaign under Klopp, which includes winning the Carabao Cup title and going strongly in the Premier League title race despite all the injury problems.
However, Elliott & co will hope to give the gaffer the perfect send-off by winning the final three games of the season and ensure that he can at least ride off into the sunset with a big smile.
