'As soon as I took that first touch': Gravenberch speaks on scoring first league goal for Liverpool

"I remember I got the ball from Harvey and as soon as I took that first touch I knew already that I wanted to shoot," Ryan Gravenberch told the Liverpool website.

"It was nice to see it go in, I’m very happy with my first Premier League goal," the midfielder added.

The Dutchman went on to send a warning to his teammates about the upcoming Merseyside derby in midweek.

"For us, we just go game by game," Gravenberch said.

"We won [at Fulham] and now Everton is waiting for us on Wednesday and we have to be prepared for them as well and then we go moving forward."

Gravenberch has played 34 games for Liverpool so far in his first season in England. He has four goals and has added two assists.
