Sevilla beat Juventus in the Europa League semifinal and will play AS Roma in the final. Their midfielder Ivan Rakitic expects a tougher battle now because it's a final but because of Jose Mourinho.
Rakitic told Tuttosport: "Roma will be even tougher than Juventus because they have a top-3 coach in the world. Mourinho has already won all the European cups.
"He really us a strategist, a special one in every sense of the word."
Asked to name the most dangerous player of the opposition, Rakitic said: "They have a very talented player and a world champion in Paulo Dybala. I was very surprised to see Juventus let him go. He's very technical with the ball, unpredictable, and difficult to catch."
Here's the thing about this final: either Mourinho loses his first-ever European final after winning 5/5, or Sevilla will lose their first-ever Europa League final after winning 6/6.
The so-called Supercomputer favours the Italian side but it's not so straightforward if you consider some variables.
The teams meet in Budapest on 31 May 2023.
