Barcelona make final decision on Vitor Roque future (reliability: 5 stars)

Barcelona have decided against keeping Vitor Roque in the squad next season, report Cadena SER's Sique Rodriguez, Adria Albets and Santi Ovalle.

The club's idea remains to loan the Brazilian out.

Roque's absence would help the club register potential new signings. He's only 18th on Barca's top-earner list, so his departure wouldn't free much space up in Blaugrana's wage bill.

The 19-year-old is said to be unhappy with the situation. The forward expected to be more important in the second half of the season; his agent has already slammed Xavi for the youngster's treatment.

Xavi reportedly plans to replace Vitor Roque with Marc Guiu, a more natural no. 9 who could be Robert Lewandowski's direct substitute.

Vitor Roque has scored two goals in 310 minutes for Barcelona, both off the bench.
