Xavi: 'We just threw everything in the trash'

"It's difficult to find explanations. We were better [than Girona] for an hour and we threw everything in the trash. That sums up the season well – you don't score and then you give goals away," Xavi has said.

Indeed, Barcelona seemed to have the game well under control early in the second half, pushing for the third goal. However, one mistake completely ruined the day for the Catalans.
