RB Leipzig midfielder Xavi Simons has notified his agents that he would be really happy to return to Barcelona next season.
As per Sport, the Dutchman’s new agent Darren Dein can actually play a major part in making this happen in the summer.
That is because Dein was the one who helped seal Barca’s sponsorship deal with Spotify last year and shares a healthy relationship with the club.
He could potentially play a part in getting a deal done, even though PSG are not going to sell the winger permanently.
Any hope Barca have in getting a deal done would be in the form of a loan move for the entirety of the 2024/25 season, if they pursue to sign him.
Simons is enjoying a prolific campaign with Leipzig, having scored nine goals and provided 15 assists in 42 appearances.
