PSG president Nasser Al-Khelafi was conspicuously absent from a planned dinner with Barcelona chiefs. Barca president Joan Laporta was also in attendance.
According to RMC Sport in France, Barcelona felt offended by the gesture of the PSG boss with Diario Sport saying the Barca entourage were left 'astonished'.
However, Al Khelafi's absence from the dinner was for a religious reason. The PSG chieftain was out to celebrate the Eid al-Fitr marking the end of the Ramadan fast.
Al Khelafi will be in the VIP box watching the game with Laporta as Barca plays their first Champions League quarter-final in four years.
Besides Al Khelafi's no-show, Barca and PSG don't have the best relationship following recent transfers between both clubs, notably Ousmane Dembele.
