Ansu Fati plans for next season unveiled

Ansu Fati is pushing to return to Barcelona next season, Relevo's Alex Pintanel says.

Fati was sent to Brighton to regain his best form and play football more regularly but none of that happened so far.

In Brighton's last Premier League game against Brentford, Fati didn't even make the matchday squad with Brighton gaffer De Zerbi claiming he was axed for tactical reasons as he needs to improve his mentality, fitness and sharpness.

The Spanish forward suffered a nasty injury in December that kept him out for three months and has only featured in 23 games this season. He only completed 90 minutes once and has been a substitute on 16 occasions.

Still, there are signs of Fati's hidden talent as he has four goals and one assist this season for the English club. His expected goal contribution (xGA) stands at 0.77 per game, which is the best at Brighton. But Fati just isn't delivering it on the pitch consistently.
