Arteta offers 'all sympathy in the world' to Poch: 'I've been on the other side'

Chelsea suffered a crushing 5-0 defeat against Arsenal at the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta said of Mauricio Pochettino after the game, as quoted by Nizaar Kinsella: "[I have] all the sympathy in the world in everything that he has been through and is doing. I have been on the other side.

"I think he is doing a good job. When I analysed them for the last seven games, they deserved to win every match.

"When you talk about sympathy and someone I love and admire. For sure, I want the best for him."

Arteta and Poch were teammates at PSG two decades ago and are close friends off the pitch.
