So it'll be right to say we are okay with coming 2nd, since this system that is not broken gave us 2nd. It obvious the system needs improvement else we would have won the league last season.  My point is simple, we don't have enough empirical evidence to prove that the system won't work. 
As bad as the system is, we scored 2 goals, had an xG over 6. Fulham had an xG of under 1 but scored 2 goals. Let's face it, it's not as bad as we are all making it

we came second because we ran out of steam, Saka & Partey looked exhausted towards the end, if we had more squad depth we wouldn't of faded away. The system was perfect we just ran out of energy.

So what happened to the system when Saliba and Zinchenko were out?! 
No one could play the role Zinchenko was playing. No one could play the role Saliba was playing and we had no other options to our plan A. My point is  Arteta is trying other plans so that we can have plans B, C when we need to.

That will be incorrect my friend. Can I ask you a simple question. What happens if Zinchenko is injured as was in game wk 1 and 2 and 3 if I may add, who inverts?!  Aslo in the current system can Gabriel come in for Saliba?

This is one of the games that l am trying to force myself to forget it. 

It's so hard for me to think we dropped 2 points because of a manager we trust so much. 

But his wrong choices and ignorance of the basics by trying to fix what is not broken. 

It's in the hands of Arteta to do the right things the basics. 

We have a great team that demands proper management.

It was poor refereeing that gifted Fulham the equaliser as Martinelli was clearly pushed onto the ball and a corner was given rather than a foul. That decision cost us the 3 points. The ref was right to not stop the game when Mr Red Card pretended to be injured. There had been no foul and he went down to stop Arsenal’s attack. That was clear by the way he jumped up and run around when we scored. Fulham should stop complaining and be grateful to the ref for gifting them the opportunity to equalise.

So in other words you are saying that the plan B,C is to play players out of their natural positions??? I think we came 2nd not because our plan wasn’t working, but it was because we didn’t have squad depth like city. Now we do do just stick to the simple things and use the carabao cup to do your experiments. Arteta should just stop trying to overthink and keep it simple. That allows the team to play better. If your xG is over 6 and your opponents is under 1 but you still draw then I think it’s bad as it looks.
