Aouar will be allowed to leave for €30m this summer (reliability: 4 stars)

Houssem Aouar might be on his way out of Lyon after the club failed to make next season's Champions League, L'Equipe report.

The French midfielder will be allowed to leave Les Gones as part of the cost-cutting exercise, alongside left-back Maxwell Cornet. Aouar's price tag has been set between €25m and €30m.

Arsenal tried to buy the midfielder last summer for a sum over €50m, so we think the Gunners might revive their interest with the fee now considerably lower. Of course lack of European footy might be an issue for us.

Aouar netted 7 goals and 3 assists this season, so it's safe to say he won't exactly contribute much in the final third. However, we do need central midfielders and Aouar is young and someone Arteta obviously fancies.
